system. We can offer campers natural surroundings
complete with waterfalls and abundant wildlife.
There are many state and county maintained campgrounds
in Iron County to serve campers for a day or a weeks
vacation. Campgrounds are located throughout the
county and are located on lakes, rivers or
streams. If you are looking for a truly natural
camping experience the Mercer Wisconsin area is the
place for you!

SANDY
BEACH CAMPGROUND
5 Miles South on Hwy. 47 from the town of Manitowish,
left on Powell Marsh Road 1-1/2 Miles. 37 Rustic
Campsites (Fee), Toilets, Tables, Picnic Area, Fire
Rings, Drinking Water, Swimming, Boat Launch, Fishing.
Park Sticker:
Residents: $5.00 Daily/ $18 Annually;
Non Residents: $7.00 Daily/ $25 Annually.

TURTLE
FLAMBEAU FLOWAGE ISLANDS
There are rustic campsites available on various island
of the Turtle Flambeau Flowage some of which have
permit camping. For further information if you would

Waterfalls, Trout Fishing.

On the Turtle River south of Fisher Lake. Has 5
camping units, picnic area, tables, toilets, boat ramp
and fishing.
